60th Anniversary of Nostra Aetate (“In Our Time”)
In 1965, the Catholic Church released Nostra Aetate (“In Our Time”), a groundbreaking declaration that redefined the Church’s relationship with non-Christian religions. It called for mutual respect, dialogue, and collaboration—marking a historic shift toward peace and understanding between faiths.
60 years on, this forum explores how far we have come in interreligious dialogue - especially in a diverse society like Singapore - and how the Church continues to contribute to harmony across faiths.
Join us as we reflect on the legacy of Nostra Aetate and learn how we, as Catholics, can foster deeper understanding and friendship with people of all religions today.
